Cell Phone Stats Update

As announced earlier, you can check your CE Cash stats from anywhere with your cell phone! Stay in touch with your business even while you're away from your computer. Go to the updates and faq section of your PIF or Mag stats to get your Pay It Forward and CE Mag stats summary text messaged to your cell phone. If you want to view all your programs stats you will need a web enabled cell phone. Simply point it to http://cecash.com.

NEW Stats Feature Added to CE Cash

Recently, The Staff at CECash.com had a chance to sit down and speak with a couple of Webmasters that regularly promote CECash.com sites. We listened to the pluses and minuses of our programs, stats etc. from their points of view. They gave us great input and insight.

One of the things we heard most often was the fact that Webmasters are forced to go from page to page in our stats adding up subtotals, trying to figure out the total of their weekly affiliate check. We were told this was too tedious and time consuming.

CECash has fixed that! Now, CECash.com stats have a new icon at bottom of your stats pages. Click on the "$ History" button at the bottom of any CECash program and you will see your last 10 payout periods. You can expand the payout data to show subtotals for each and every program and easily see how your weekly check totals are achieved. Work smart as well as hard! (reprint)

Most people in this industry has realized that it it not a get rich quick scheme and that it takes time and hard work! What it seems that many have not realized yet is that by working smartly as well, that some of the hard work can be made easier.

There are many examples of this but I will attempt to show you just a few things that can save some of your time when working which will make your work a bit easier.

CE Board questions - There are many people that work considerably harder to find an answer to a question because they do not like to post to any boards for whatever reason even though the board could easily contain the answer they are seeking. So, how do you save time in this situation? Try using the search feature (located in the upper right corner of the board pages) to find the answers. The majority of the time you will find the same question has been asked already. By using the search feature to find the answer, you would have saved the research time you would need to find it in other manners.

Site building - If you build multiple sites, you can save many hours of work as well as storage on your server by starting out with a planned directory structure. For example, for domains that I use for multiple free sites (this applies to many type of sites as well as free sites), you can have one directory for all images, one directory for all banners and then use those directories for the free sites you build on that domain. This way, you can update one specific banner image and have it change across multiple sites easily by using a relative path and calling them all from the same place. This applies to the images as well. By having them all in one directory, you can upload new ones (with the same file name) and all of the sites on that domain would be updated with fresh content. Not only does this speed up your updating process but it also will cut down on the server space you need as you will not have duplicate graphic files in each site directory.

Stat checking - Way to many folks it seems spend time watching their stats. By setting your own review schedule, you will be able to cut down on the time spent doing this. Something like having a specific time once or twice a day to check your stats and then a specific weekly (or whatever time frame you choose) overall review can give a good overview of the stats and you do not end up spending to much time actually looking at them. (Check the link in the notables section if you are interested in a service that will track stats for you)

I realize the above examples do not apply to everyone but hopefully it does do an efficient job of making everyone think about the time saving steps that are available or can be created and utilized. Remember, time saved on one thing can be time spent on another money making opportunity.
